Weak sustainability
From Envirowiki
Weak sustainability is the kind of sustainability pushed by the Bruntland report, and the Rio Earth Summit, which either argues that Sustainability should be secondary to economic concerns, or that sustainability can achieved with a growth economy, without recognising that that growth is intricately linked to environmental destruction, and can't be decoupled (an exponential system within a static system).
