Universal Declaration of Human Rights

The Universal Declaration of Human Rights is an advisory declaration adopted by the United Nations General Assembly (A/RES/217, 1948 December 10 at Palais de Chaillot, Paris).
The Declaration sets forth basic human rights, and is expanded by a number of further declarations, such as the Declaration on the Rights of the Child and the Declaration on the Rights of the Refugee[1]
