- 7 September 2007: The Environmental Defenders Office (Sydney) today filed a challenge in the Queensland Supreme Court to the proposed auction of 8000 ML of water from the Warrego catchment in Queensland, on behalf of Broken Hill based group Darling River Action Group Inc.
- 7th June 2007: Frank Sartor (Minister for Planning) has today approved the controversial Anvil Hill coal mine in the Hunter Valley.
- 21st Dec 2006: Frank Sartor announces that the NSW Govt/Planning department will not appeal the Anvil Hill court case decision
