The Save Happy Valley Campaign is a current campaign running in Aotearoa (New zealand), in an effort to save Happy Valley, on the South Island, from coal mining by Solid Energy. The campaign focusses on the wilderness and wildlife of the area, as well as climate change.
the Save Happy Valley Coalition recently had a win in court, after they released a report purporting to be from Solid Energy, revealing how well they are fucking up the planet, as well as workers rights and other issues. See Anarchia Films' SHVC Environment report report.
