hmm, possibly $4bn to build new 1000MW coal fired power station around lithgow or huntervalley in new south wales. that equates to 2 million solar hot water systems at $2000 and would have a similiar effect of maintaining the supply demand differential but by reducing demand not by increasing supply. demand reduction stratigies coupled with renewable supply investments is possible unfortunately cheap abundant coal reserves creating money for some is difficult to overcome, thanks and good luck, jeff
