The Car-free movement is composed of people who believe that the automobile (and especially private car ownership) has an overall negative impact on people and the planet.

Have the courage of your convictions: refuse to get in any car! Just say no (as Thatcher would have it). Ride a bike, walk, catch busses and trains: our planet doesn't need more people 'justifying' their car use. There is no justification!
